La Fargeotte is set in the lush green countryside of the Perigord Noir. It is perfectly situated to visit the many tourist attractions in the region. This self-catering gite is a large apartment just a short walk away from the village of Mauzens et Miremont. It has a large spacious open-plan lounge/diner which is tastefully decorated and retains the original charms of exposed stonework to one wall and beamed ceilings. There are two large double bedrooms and a large twin room. If required, there is a cot and also an extra single bed to accommodate an extra person. The garden is at the rear of the property and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine while listening to the gentle trickling of the River Manaurie as it meanders its way to the River Vezere. Owners Jill and Paul live discreetly on-site but are on hand to welcome you and help with any enquiries you may have e.g. tourist information, restaurant bookings etc. |

There are many reasons to visit this lovely part of France. The area is renowned for its gourmet delights of foie gras, truffles and wine.
